Position Description:

Provides an advanced level of administrative support related to accurate, complete and timely documentation of capital construction work.

Research, analyze, compile and/or verify information including, but not limited to:

Job orders and completion reports

Designed versus constructed projects

Leakage and repair logs

Service cards


Forecasting and measurement

Compliance records

Pipeline data

Major materials


Utilize JES, Maximo, Oracle, Business Intelligence and Excel to enter data and prepare reports including, but not limited to:

Load requirements

New services/service kills/taps/rebuilds

Master records/inventory

Debit memos

Journal entries

Job-to-job transfers

Property corrections

Job order/completion status

Advise and assist contractors, builders, customers, employees and others including, but not limited to, on the following:

Job orders/completion status

Meter installations

City/county work permits

Line locations

Communicate with Field Operations, Engineering, and Accounting on quality of documentation and status of pending work.

Post pipeline system changes on job orders and completion reports.

Prepare billing information for third party contributions and/or reimbursements.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Experience providing administrative and/or secretarial support.

Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including: computers, photocopiers, facsimiles, and applicable software.

Experience with policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position.

Experience reading and interpreting various types of manuals, forms, publications, maps and reports.

Experience interacting, advising and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.

Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Minimum Applicable driver's license.

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.

Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
