One Gas Supervisor Project Coordination and Scheduling in Overland Park, Kansas
Supervise and direct employees in activities related to ensuring all capital projects, preventative maintenance and compliance work is forecasted, scheduled and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Work with local operations to understand manpower, available equipment and materials and compliance timelines to oversee the adjustment and revision of job priorities to accommodate changing conditions, material, and equipment and crew allocations.
Assist with the forecasting progress and expenses related to coordinated work and meet regularly with Administrative Services, Engineering, Asset Management and Property Accounting on material variances against plan to achieve overall strategic objectives for the current fiscal year.
Oversee the scheduling of jobs which includes ensuring all pre-requisites are satisfied, approved and the appropriate resources are available.
Interact with direct and indirect reports, Dispatch, Field Operations, Work Management, Projects & Program Delivery, and/or Contractors on Operations expectations, project status or other deliverables as necessary to facilitate work execution.
Supervise the coordination of emergent, construction, maintenance and/or compliance work types.
Oversee project portfolio for short-term planning and execution statuses to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.
Monitor, review, develop, and/or prepare information including but not limited to:
Leak Repair Activity
New and Rebuilt Services
Active Capital Projects
Incomplete Work Orders
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Preferred Bachelor's Degree business administration, management, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:
Demonstrated ability of scheduling principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability of resource skillsets, operator qualifications, equipment and materials.
Experience with project management including understanding of overall objectives, establishing milestones, meeting and/or exceeding deadlines, and maintaining appropriate budget or financial plan throughout.
Demonstrated ability with communicating and/or exchanging information or instructions and conducting oral presentations.
Experience with and working knowledge of the construction, maintenance, appurtenances, and operation of pipeline systems related to natural gas distribution systems.
Demonstrated ability to assess the impact of changes in the business environment or business operating conditions.
Experience interacting and communicating effectively.
Experience leading, directing, supervising, and training.
Experience with the application of math, advanced algebra and statistics.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English
Preferred Project management certification
Minimum Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company offices, field locations and customer locations.
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties. #fieldoperations
