Position Description:

Performs activities related to monitoring , conducting, and presenting technical trainings; assists in developing training programs.

Assist in the development of new classroom and web based training modules/materials.

Assist in coordinating, facilitating, conducting and/or overseeing training at training facilities or a work location. Install, maintain, and/or assist in construction of training aids and equipment.

Assist in developing, coordinating, updating, and conducting internal/external studies and research projects including but not limited to (as specified by position):

Training programs/courses

Needs analysis

Safety and material security

Compliance and ethics

Provide information and/or assistance to employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, local governmental officials, and others regarding company/governmental standards, certifications, codes, and training.

Compile, verify, and/or prepare information and reports including but not limited to (as specified by position):

Job skills/training needs assessments

Procedure/training manuals

Training modules, statistics, and reports

Training history


Assist in maintenance and data input into various systems as needed.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Demonstrated ability conducting training.

Working knowledge related to company training program and processes.

Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including accessing computers (as specified by position).

Experience with the application of basic mathematical and algebraic formulas.

Knowledge and/or training related to:

Microcomputer applications including spreadsheet and word processing software

Company policies/procedures and governmental regulations

Developmental needs analyses

Interpersonal/communication skills

Training methods

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret manuals, reports, governmental regulations, training materials, safety manuals, field procedural manuals, equipment specifications, policies, procedures, and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and prepare reports, training aides and manuals, needs assessments, field procedural manuals, policies, procedures, and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to make presentations.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Minimum Applicable driver's license

Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and job and training sites out of doors.

Able to operate tools and equipment required.

Lift and move objects weighing 30 to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Communicate and/or exchange information verbally and conduct oral presentations.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
