One Gas Analyst - Investment & Reporting in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

Prioritize investments based on the asset management risk framework and provide information inputs to decision making relating to building up and adjusting the annual plan and the approval process.

Build and maintain multi-year work plans (annual to 10 year plans). Prioritize annual and long-term implementation plans and segment plans geographically for distribution to various work groups.

Perform segmentation of interval workloads into functional types of work including but not limited to:


Work Type (O&M, Capital, Customer, Emergency work, etc.)

Geographic location

FERC account

Generates prioritized work plans based on value to the organization; including but not limited to: risk reduction, efficiency gain, system improvement, and cost avoidance. Work plans are generated based on inputs into the Asset Investment Planning and Management (AIPM) software. Prepare prioritized information for Resource Management and Projects and Program Delivery planning.

Formulate the annual work plan based on inputs from the containers.

Support effort to conduct the change control process involving the annual work plan by analyzing data and creating reports to present to assist in decision making regarding changes.

Execute Asset Investment Planning and Management (AIPM) reports to allow for investment monitoring in areas including but not limited to:

Actual vs. planned

Rates and regulatory

Change control

Approval process estimation

Ad hoc queries

Apply the asset management risk framework to all four work type investments across the various containers:




Emergency work

Communicate with the Resource Management group regarding approved asset investments.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree business administration or related field

Experience in Capital and O&M budgeting, project prioritization and reporting.

Experience building complex multi-year investment plans, preferably asset based.

Knowledge of investment plan change control process and supporting criteria.

Experience prioritizing investments using a common framework.

Experience creating reports and writing queries against application, preferably AIPM or alternatively investment/asset management software.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply internal control concepts and auditing processes, procedures, and standards.

Demonstrated ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles.

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers, desktop software and financial IT applications.

Experience and/or training related to:

Internal control concepts

Industry and subject-specific audit guides and tools

Interpersonal/communication skills

Natural gas and mid-stream industry

Demonstrated ability in researching, planning, and facilitating process reviews and preparing related recommendations.

Experience developing process documentation including but not limited to:

Identifying process level objectives

Assessing risks to achievement of those objectives

Developing practical controls to help ensure risks are properly addressed

Experience developing and presenting information to individuals and groups.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Minimum Applicable driver's license

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.#officeoperations
