One Gas Customer Outreach Manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:


Identify, collaborate, develop and supervise internal and external materials, discussion points, videos, presentations and media-related content to create a unified customer outreach program for Commercial Activities. Work with managers and directors of the Commercial Activities group, as well as collaboration with Corporate Communications and/or external public relations firms to develop and create or assist in creating communications strategies and material which supports Commercial Activities’ initiatives, including but not limited to:

  • Customer outreach materials

  • Give-away or promotional items

  • Discussion points for strategic initiatives to be used by Sales and Key Account/Market Development representatives

  • Web and other media content

  • Videos

  • Company publications

  • Presentations

  • Business Cases

  • Trade shows

Work with the Manager of Customer Programs to develop budget and track and ensure budgeted marketing dollars fit within the company’s regulatory allowance, and/or justify additional spend as required.

Collaborates with Commercial Activities managers and directors to develop feature stories for company publications for internal and/or external audiences.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of corporate communication policies and procedures.Experience working with marketing or public relations firms or in corporate communications.Experience related to:

  • Mass communications

  • Preparation of speeches or special programs

  • Social media platforms

  • Communicating through use of various mediums (print/electronic)

  • Interpersonal communications skills

  • Video production

Experience developing and executing communications strategies to reach targeted audiences and/or enhance company reputation and Commercial Activities goals.

Ability to read, interpret and disseminate information from periodicals, journals, publications, legal documents, financial statements, manuals and internal communications.

Ability to create, edit and research speeches, audiovisual presentations, feature articles, and correspondence.

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.

Experience and training related to public speaking and interpersonal communication skills and development programs.

Experience researching and preparing reports, advertising copy, budgets, and correspondence.

Experience developing information, conducting tours, and making presentations.

Experience interacting, negotiating, advising, and communicating effectively internally and externally.

Experience in developing, presenting and administering communications training programs.

Experience in interacting, critiquing, guiding, communicating and conducting presentations effectively.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Physical requirements: Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

Communication requirements: Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings.

Visual requirements: Sufficient to perform job duties.
