What does a successful candidate look like?

  • Experience in designing, developing, and managing online, blended, or other technology-mediated instruction.

  • Designs and develops teaching aids, such as slideshows, handbooks, facilitator scripts, e-learning content or materials, reference guides, visual aids, and manuals for instructor-led training or web-based training.

  • Experience building and deploying online courses via LMS platforms using e-learning authoring and design software.

  • Experience in multimedia authoring tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Camtasia Studio, Canva, and Lectora preferred.

  • Must be self-driven, collaborative, and able to develop effective relationships on all levels throughout the organization.

This position can be located in Tulsa, OK; Oklahoma City, OK; or Overland Park, Kansas. This position will have a hybrid schedule with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.

What You Will Do

Perform activities related to monitoring, and coordinating developmental training activities.

Develop and coordinate our studies and research projects including:

Learning and development programs

Needs analyses

Course evaluations

Vendor proposals

Facilitate workshops and training sessions related to employee and management development.

Research, interpret, and develop related recommendations from multiple sources including:

State and federal regulations

Job information

Company procedures

Learning and development modules

Provide guidance and information to employees, supervisors, managers, executives, vendors, and others regarding training needs and program development.

Help with development, and reconciliations of developmental training budgets.

Compile and verify information and reports including:

Participant training guides

Trainers' guides

Test/evaluation documentation

Learning and development catalogs

Correspondence

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be asked to perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need

Associate's degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:

Ability facilitating training programs.

Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including microcomputers and applicable software such as Excel (can perform complex functions) , Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge and training related to:

Organizational development

Course design/evaluation

Developmental needs analyses

Human Resource System (HRS) and report writer applications

Facilitation/collaborative methods

Ability researching reports, questionnaires, surveys, scripts, procedures, correspondence, and budget information.

Ability reading and interpreting manuals, reports, vendor proposals, governmental regulations, training materials, job information, procedures, and correspondence.

Ability developing information and making formal presentations.

Read and write fluently in English.

Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company locations and training sites in state and out of state.

Lift or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds frequently; up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and job sites out of doors.

Operate office tools and equipment.

Communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.

Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
