What does a successful candidate look like?
3+ years of experience preferred in Instructional Design
Experience in designing courses or redesigning existing courses, creating manuals, and presentations.
Experience in building PowerPoint Presentations for large audiences in-person and virtual.
Knowledge of instructional design theories such as Kirkpatrick or Addie Model.
Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization and work closely with Subject Matter Experts when creating content.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Develop and maintain engaging training material and course content.
Foundational development and maintenance of course content including but not limited to:
Safety and individual accountability.
Emergency action plans.
Personal protective equipment (PPE).
Portable fire extinguishers and class of fires.
Incident reporting and Axiom.
Basic vehicle safety.
Trenching and excavation safety.
Stop work authority.
Characteristics of Natural Gas.
ecognizing emergency conditions in the field.
ONE Call system.
Collaborate with stakeholders in the development and enhancement of training content/material. Ensure stakeholders have an understanding of the training material they deliver.
Stay current on all regulatory updates that will impact training content/material. Propose modifications to leadership based on findings.
Analyze and assess organizational training needs and challenges. Collect, analyze, and leverage data to deliver key insights that drive organizational change and progress.
Develop and maintain predictive analytics and measures that relate to people and organizational dynamics.
Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of the job.

Preferred Bachelor's Degree Environmental Safety & Health, Business, or related field and/or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:Extensive experience and thorough knowledge of the development and content of technical and/or non-technical training programs and/or administration.
Extensive experience and thorough knowledge of regulatory agencies and governmental laws pertaining to Operator Qualifications, fire safety, welding/plastic fusion certifications, related codes and standards, and developmental training programs.
Previous experience in reviewing, interpreting, and/or analyzing company policies, procedures and records, equipment manuals, certification tests, governmental regulations and guidelines, contracts, and technical training documents.
Proven experience in operations management, technical training, organizational development and/or talent development.
Experience analyzing, compiling, trending, and/or preparing data.
Experience in use and function of Microsoft suite, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to work through complex business situations and identify, develop, and implement solutions.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver’s license.
Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out-of-doors.
Able to communicate and exchange information.
Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.
