One Gas Manager Commercial Projects in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

Oklahoma Natural Gas is currently seeking a Manager in Commercial Projects in Tulsa, OK. In this role you will manage and direct customer development programs for the region. You will also be responsible to develop, coordinate, and monitor residential, commercial, and small industrial customer development activities for a region.

Manage and direct employees communicating customer development programs including but not limited to:

  • Natural gas conversion programs

  • Customer care programs

  • Line extension programs

  • Gas appliances programs and use of gas-fired equipment

  • Energy conservation programs

  • Meter set programs

Interact with other company department personnel to develop, implement, and coordinate programs to improve the quality of service provided to customers.

Advise and assist customers, manufacturers, distributors, builders/developers, educators, state and local officials, plumbers, HVAC contractors, vendors, and others regarding gas equipment, company policies and procedures, customer development programs, tariffs, unbundling, and deregulation issues.

Represent company through active participation in industry organizations and civic and community activities.

Research, calculate, and/or prepare information and reports including but not limited to:

  • Feasibility studies

  • Appliance costs

  • Operating costs

  • Line extension agreements

  • Customer correspondence

  • Budgets

Position Requirements:

Preferred Bachelor's Degree accounting, business administration, marketing, or related field with previous experience in customer development functions or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as accounting, business management, marketing, speech, business math, supervisory management, or business communications PLUS the following job related experience.

Experience and thorough knowledge of functions, policies, and procedures related to customer development programs.

Experience monitoring and analyzing needs in residential, commercial, and small industrial customer sectors and developing strategies.

Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position, including accessing mainframe computers and/or microcomputers.

Experience with application of math and algebraic formulas.

Experience and training related to:

  • Gas-fired equipment design and operation

  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning

  • Line extension program

  • Interpersonal/communications skills

Knowledge of operating and customer service field activities as they relate to customer development programs.

Experience supervising; working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.

Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals.

Experience interacting, training, and communicating effectively.

Experience composing and preparing reports, forms, budgets, and correspondence.

Experience reading and interpreting manuals, governmental rules and regulations, forms, contracts, and correspondence.

Experience actively participating in civic, community, and professional organizations.

Experience monitoring and evaluating company policies and procedures and recommending and implementing appropriate changes. #Officeoperations
