One Gas Manager, Engineering/Operating Standards in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Oversee the development and execution of enterprise-wide engineering and operations standards and training designed to support operations; ensures compliance of standards and operations procedures with state and federal codes.
Review, analyze, provide feedback, and develop appropriate changes to internal operations relative to regulatory rulemaking and other external and internal causation.
Research and/or interpret governmental safety regulations; ensure employees are adequately informed of regulatory changes.
Develop and oversee appropriate procedures and standards for the construction, maintenance and operation of company assets.
Support compliance with company pipeline safety standards and governmental rules and regulations.
Development and maintenance of O&M Standards Manual compliant with DOT 192 Pipeline Safety regulations and associated training requirements.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree engineering plus equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:
Experience identifying, researching, evaluating, and prioritizing operational problems or specific situations and determining appropriate action/response.
Experience and knowledge of operations and maintenance.
Knowledge of and experience with regulatory issues and procedures development.
Working knowledge of managing multiple projects among extended workgroups.
Experience with application of math and algebraic formulas.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Demonstrated ability to research and prepare policies, procedures and forms related to compliance.
Experience with and training related to:
Operating policies and procedures
Communications skills/customer relations
Conducting meetings and presentations
Industry standards and governmental codes, rules and regulations
Development of technical training programs
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license
Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out of doors.
Communicate and/or exchange information.
Requires travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
3+ years of experience in the design or operation of distribution and/or transmission pipeline projects preferred.
Professional Engineer(PE) License Preferred.
