One Gas Project Manager, Human Resources in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

We are hiring for a Project Manager Human Resources position at our corporate headquarters in downtown Tulsa, OK.

In this position the successful candidate will plan, execute and finalize human resources projects on time, on budget and within scope. They will resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Coordinate efforts of team members, vendors, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Provide insight, consult and develop solutions during the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition processes.

Identify aggregate workforce performance and development needs and trends, serving as a resource to human resources functional teams, and human resources business partners.

Plan, organize and manage resources to ensure the completion of assigned projects.

Gather ideas, issues, and risks for assigned projects; provide input for solutions and approaches to key stakeholders.

Escalates project issues and ideas to direct leadership with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.

Develop and sustain effective customer relationships, including being responsive to customers when needed.

Effectively develop and communicate statements of projects and project scope, tasks and expectations of assigned projects.

Prioritize and monitor activities to deliver results within budgetary and resource constraints.

Monitors and tracks project progress and reports project status to appropriate stakeholders, including budget and/or resource constraints.

Position Requirements:

Preferred Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, MIS or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience:

Experience working with human resources and/or human resources business partners.

Demonstrated ability in project resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting.

Working knowledge of human resources strategy, processes and procedures

Demonstrated ability successfully managing projects.

Working knowledge in coordinating teams from various workgroups, managing relationships with internal and external participants and eliciting cooperation from sources including but not limited to:

  • Upper management

  • Clients

  • Vendors

  • Other Departments

Working knowledge around strategic and critical thinking.

Demonstrated ability developing information and conducting formal meetings.

Ability to travel as needed to other ONE Gas locations.

Ability to effectively communicate.

Ability to conduct oral presentations as required.
