RIM Advisor II - Records and Information Management (Hybrid)

ONE Gas seeks a highly motivated and experienced employee to serve as the subject matter expert to update and support Information Governance policies and procedures. This position will play a key role in researching and development of best practices along with providing guidance to compliance related inquires around record lifecycle management.
What You Will Do
Provide guidance regarding ONE Gas' records and information management (RIM) program. Partner with other teams to provide solutions for managing records and ensuring compliance.
Help develop comprehensive procedures to document records management and information governance practices.
Create and distribute training programs and train teams regarding compliance and the actions necessary to follow the ONE Gas, Inc. records and information management program.
Provide procedures and oversight to service inbound calls and requests including after hours or rotation. Identify, document, and report on service level agreements with emergency and non-emergency requests.
Define, update, and verify record data and meta data is entered and maintained per procedures.
Provide guidance to information governance employees and contractors involved with projects associated with imaging, Quality Control (QC), records classification, field support, customer support, retention, and disposition. Provide direction and oversight to RIM vendors. Identify, define, and update key performance indicators to measure vendor performance.
Develop forms, retention schedules, instructions, training reference sheets, and other materials to promote self-service informational activities.
Help plan by reviewing short and long-term physical record storage and space requirements to identify and define options.
Provide guidance and direction in centralized and decentralized file management operations to improve access, control, and disposition.
Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with retention program, classification, and information governance related procedures.
Ensure physical box record inventories and dispositions under the information governance control is maintained. Provide guidance as requested on physical records outside of RIM's control.
Provide ongoing maintenance activities on record management systems, accountability users, training assignments, processes, ticketing, inventories, shredding bins, and supplies to support the departments operational activities.
Assist audit and compliance to verify information governance related policies, procedures, and retention programs are taken into consideration.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

What You Will Need
Preferred bachelor's degree in information management, business management, other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:
Previous experience with information governance including resources management, information systems and technology, administrative management, or law as it applies to records and information governance and management.
Experience with records and information management programs; Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other automation tools.
Demonstrated ability in developing information, conducting meetings, providing training, and making presentations.
Experience working collaboratively with multiple groups on projects.
Experience in identifying, researching, evaluating, and prioritizing issues or specific situations and coordinating appropriate action/response.
Demonstrated ability working, advising, and communicating.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum applicable driver's license
Preferred Certified in Records Management or Information Governance
Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
Occasionally lifts 50 lbs. to 100 lbs.
May require travel to other company offices and facilities and to job sites.
Communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
