ONE Gas, a premier natural gas distribution company with corporate offices in Tulsa, OK, is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join our enterprise analytics team. ONE Gas Data Analytics Interns receive challenging and exciting project assignments as well as opportunities to network with other interns and leadership. ONE Gas Interns are placed within departments and given the opportunity to experience the type of work they might encounter in a full-time position through projects, on-the-job assignments, job shadowing, and presentations. ONE Gas Internships offer a competitive environment that exposes students to project management and teamwork experiences.

Work assignments are anticipated to be in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a hybrid work schedule.

Position Requirements:

What You Will Do

Work as part of the enterprise analytics team and learn key aspects of the data analytics product lifecycle. Execute an analytics project within the team’s area of responsibility and present your findings at the conclusion of the internship. Work may include collaboration with business partners, defining requirements, data engineering, data visualization, model building and deployment. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

What You Will Need

Prefer students who are projected to graduate in December 2024 or May 2025 with an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science but may consider other applicable majors.

Prefer students to have a GPA of above 3.0 as well as involvement in extracurricular, community support activities, particularly those demonstrating leadership. Prior work experience (internships, summer or part-time work while attending school, etc.) is also preferred.

Timeline

Applications for our summer internship program open in August. We are recruiting interns beginning in September. Interviews follow campus career fairs. Offers are typically extended to students by the end of October or early November.

Compensation : All ONE Gas internship positions are paid. We offer a fair and competitive pay rate.
