One Gas Market Development Representative in El Paso, Texas
Implement sales strategy for residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Responsible for market development, new account acquisition and face to face meetings within the confined geography to meet the customer's needs.
Analyze, develop and implement customer sales strategy
Identify key growth partners and implement communication strategy
Monitor and report growth mapping and planning in collaboration with other departments.
Develop and present sales proposals or provide gas service related information to business prospects.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements for this position
Strong relationship-building skills
Awareness and/or familiarity of marketplace trends in the region
Experience with business development and/or sales
Experience with local Economic Development is beneficial
Experience in the real estate industry
Bilingual is strongly preferred
Preferred bachelor's degree in business, communications, engineering, finance, other related field, OR an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant experience including the following job related experience:
Working knowledge of utility industry.
Demonstrated ability to perform economic and financial project analysis.
Application of algebraic equations, and general math skills.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and related software.
Experience and/or training related to:
Natural gas sales
Rate and usage analysis
Interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret tariffs, terms of contracts, industry publications, technical manuals, market reports, account data, and company policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to research and prepare account correspondence, rate agreements, usage reports, account analysis, and rate comparison.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and conduct sales meetings.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to other company locations, and to outside meetings with customers and others.
Physical requirements: Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.
Communication requirements: Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual requirements: Sufficient to perform job duties.
