One Gas Director Inclusion and Diversity in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

Will develop strategy and implement and direct programs that promote inclusion & diversity within the company. This role is responsible for developing training and initiatives to create and foster an open and inclusive environment working across the business with team leaders. Strong analytical component by measuring and forecasting diversity metrics. Partners closely with Human Resources and Legal. Works with I&D team to further enhance culture and I&D initiatives. Will own and build upon relationships with external diversity networks.

Essential Functions

Design company policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce. Build upon I&D Plan; work with human resources for implementation of policies and programs and define metrics to report results.

Ensure diversity training materials content remains relevant and dynamic in a continually evolving subject matter. Organize trainings to boost knowledge and morale around sensitive diversity topics.

Understand and use data to make decisions around diversity goals, working closely with Human Resources. An ability to articulate the meaning behind the numbers is essential.

Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate inclusion & diversity initiatives implemented and prepare quarterly reports to senior management on the value of the initiatives. Understand what the metrics are saying and strengthen efforts and adjust course as necessary based on results.

Keep current on diversity trends by maintaining contact with others in the field (e.g., professional association and educational groups, and professional development efforts). Continue to foster relationships within the community and various industry groups to show thought leadership.

Lead, grow and develop I&D team members. Guide and oversee the work for the I&D team – including direct reports, I&D Champions, ERG leadership and I&D Council – to ensure content and efforts are relevant, timely and aligned with company strategy. Further foster relationships with HR, Legal, Investor Relations, and unions.

Act as a consultant to underrepresented groups and make sure all voices are heard.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in cultural/intercultural relations, psychology/sociology, organizational behavior, human resource management, or other related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:

Working knowledge of human resources policies, programs and practices.

Proven experience with developing strategy and implementing inclusion and diversity initiatives. Having a curiosity and bold thinking that guides the organization to continuous improvement creating an inclusive and diverse culture.

Proven experience reading and interpreting policies, reports, governmental regulations, benefits information, employment documents, industry publications, procedures, and correspondence.

Strong analytical skills with proven experience analyzing and preparing information including personnel statistics, benefit reports, employment data, special projects, policy recommendations, procedures, and correspondence.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience interacting, directing, delegating, and communicating effectively to a variety of audiences. Ability to facilitate difficult conversations within work groups.

Demonstrated experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals internally and externally.

Proven experience leading, directing and supervising team members.

Ability to indirectly influence others; leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
