One Gas Senior Financial Consultant-Investor Relations in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Position Description:

Performs advanced quantitative research, quantitative modeling, and financial analysis in order to support strategic business decision making and the development of Company performance communications.

Develop, maintain and analyze data related to financial performance, stock transactions, industry trends, peer company financial performance, M&A analysis, ownership changes, and investor representation.

Perform advanced level research requests for information from buy-side and sell-side analysts, financial journalists, other investment professionals and executive management. Respond to inquiries from individual investors and certain institutional investors and research analysts when needed.

Replicate and track financial models of covering sell-side analysts.

Assist in the development of investor communications strategy. Analyze financial models and the valuation process in order to provide meaningful information to the public.

Assist in the development and management of relationships with key analysts, institutional investors, fund managers, and fixed-income analysts in order to ensure informed decision-making opinions and valuation.

Provide economic support, lease vs. buy analysis and asset valuation for Commercial (Business Development) team.

Provide support for planning, preparation, and dissemination of corporate financial and organizational information to potential investors of company including but not limited to:

Financial analyses

Financial news releases

Written reports

Website/webcast information

Formal and informal presentations


Support the planning and verification of information, speeches, and reports including but not limited to:

Financial presentations

Corporate “story”

Corporate financial data

Earnings releases

Provide analytical and technical support to the Treasury and FP&A teams and support ad-hoc management reporting.

Provide guidance to other staff members.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

Employee may be assigned special projects or required to perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Preferred Master's Degree Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree in finance, quantitative methods, economics or similar study preferred.

Demonstrated ability to build complex quantitative financial models used by financial analysts in their valuation process of analyzing financial performance, analyzing ratios such as earnings per share, return on equity, credit metrics, etc.

  1. Application of math and advanced quantitative methods.

  2. Experience in investment banking, institutional investing, portfolio management or similar quantitative role preferred.

  3. Experience compiling and interpreting financial data related to corporate stock, financial condition, forecasts, and earnings.

  4. Demonstrated ability to utilize correct methods to identify, target, and develop communications appropriate to financial audiences.

  5. Experience compiling, reviewing, and/or preparing information for financial publications such as annual reports, financial reports, and other projects.

  6. Experience in researching, preparing, and composing materials for investor and analyst meetings, financial news releases, narratives, or other communications.

  7. Demonstrated ability to review and interpret shareholder and investor materials, financial data, reports, legislative and regulatory reports and filings, publications, journals, and security analyst updates.

  8. Experience in and/or training related to:

Spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Monitoring/analyzing industry trends

Governmental rules and regulations

  1. Experience in interacting, consulting, and communicating effectively, both orally and written.

  2. Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Preferred CFA or CPA certification preferred.

Minimum Applicable driver's license. Requires travel to various locations in-state and out-of-state.

Mobility to travel in and around office facilities.

Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.

Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
